Area Rugs

An area rug is used to cover an area in your home. These types of rugs are made from several different types of materials and come in a wide variety of color and size. An area rug can be used to separate one room from another. It can be placed at the door when guests and family members are greeted in order to give them a welcoming feeling. Area rugs can be used on top of hardwood, tile or hard surfaces in order to keep the feet warm as you walk around in the house. Area rugs are not used to cover the entire room like broadloom.

Pros of Broadloom

  • There are no seams in broadloom. Sometimes seams make it difficult to clean the rug thoroughly. However, you will not find seams in a broadloom.

Cons of Broadloom
